Treasury assets
Manage your treasury assets with Squads.
Overview
Treasury consists of “Accounts” that are separate vaults (called sub-accounts) with unique addresses and can be used by teams to separate their treasury assets between various accounts. Each account is a separate PDA (Program Derived Address).
Squads Pro users can create unlimited amount of sub-accounts and can also hide them from the “Treasury” page.
On the main "Treasury" page, users can see the cumulative balance of all accounts including the amount of assets (SPL and NFTs) and the amount of validators with whom they staked their SOL holdings.
Users can initiate withdrawals, deposits, swaps and off-ramps directly from this page. Along with the actions users can browser their NFTs stored in different accounts.
From the “Treasury” page users can navigate to the specific account by clicking on it.
Supported assets
Squads support:
Any SPL (Solana Program Library) tokens, including tokens under the Token2022 standard. Members can deposit tokens into a Squad through the interface using a wallet or send them from their individual wallet/CEX account
NFTs, including pNFT and cNFT standards
Inflows and outflows
All transactions which are done within a Squad will appear in the "Inflows and outflows" section.
The information about them will include:
Asset
Type (Deposit, send, buy, swap)
Address of the wallet that performed the transaction
Date
Amount
Contacts
Any member of a Squad can save an address as contact to simplify the process of funds withdrawal.
To do this:
Click "Contacts" icon in the "Treasury" section of the "Account" view.
Enter a name and public key for the contact.
Click on the "Approve" icon and sign a transaction in the wallet pop-up.
To delete a contact, click on the "Bin" icon and sign a transaction in the wallet pop-up.
Airdrop Checker
To accommodate current and future airdrops, users can use the airdrop checker to see if their Squads account is eligible for an airdrop, such as $JTO. Through this checker, eligible Squads users can claim their airdrops directly from the Squads app.
From the Treasury page, scroll down below your coins list to find the airdrop checker.
How to deposit assets into your Squads account
Squads app supports SPL tokens as well as NFTs. Users can deposit and send assets from their account by initiating a transaction, which needs to be approved by other members for execution.
To deposit funds:
Navigate to the "Treasury" tab. Then, click on the "Deposit" button.
When prompted, select the account you wish to deposit to and the asset type (SPL token or NFT).
Click "Deposit" to complete the process.
How to withdraw assets from your Squads account
To withdraw assets:
Navigate to the "Treasury" tab, click on the "Send" button.
Fill in the transaction details, and launch a transaction.
Once the transaction hits the confirmation threshold, it can be executed by any member of a Squad.
Funds will be transferred upon the execution of the transaction.
Always send a first small test amount when sending assets to centralized exchanges (CEXs). Some CEXs do not recognize transfers from Squads multisigs/PDAs. Learn more here.
Please note that when sending assets to an address that has not received this specific token before (for example, sending USDC to a newly created wallet that hasn't had USDC previously), you will need a minimum of 0.003 SOL in your Squads account. This will cover the cost of creating an ATA in the destination wallet.
You can also send assets by entering the email address of the recipient. This is powered by TipLink.
If you send assets to the wrong email address or the TipLink funds are not being claimed, you can recover the associated tokens back to your vault.
Note: Token Extensions are not supported with emails yet.
How to receive assets into your Squads account
Squads users can receive funds from external parties like contractors, investors, as well as other Solana wallets by sharing their Squads account address or QR code.
To receive funds:
Click either on the copy-paste or QR code icon under the Squads profile section to open the "Receive assets" pop-up and copy your Squads account address.
NFTs
Members can deposit up to 20 NFTs and batch send hundred of NFTs in a single transaction using the Squads app.
Additionally, members have the option to change how NFTs are displayed in their gallery, either as a list or an icon view.
Users can switch their NFT gallery to the list view by clicking on the switcher next to the "Search" field.
